Minus Two

Minus two, a sister and now a brother! Today we said farewell to my little (big) bro as he leaves for the greener pastures of Canada! It was with a few teas in our eyes, and yes, from Des as well, that we said goodbye, because he will be sorely missed! Thanks for all the good times over the past 5 months or so Al! Des is going to miss his gaming buddy and all the smack that you guys talked basically every night :) Levi is going to miss his uncle Ali too, it was soo great that he could meet you, who knows, next time you see him he could be walking and talking! I'm going to miss having you around and being able to talk, not about anything, just talk :) All the best for this new chapter in life mate, we love you lots and are looking forward to the next time we get to see you again! Happy Birthday Musketeer!

Today my bestie turns..... another year older! :) We have had so much fun over the past decade that we have been friends so today darling, i would like to wish you a hip happidy 'reminising' birsday! I feel so blessed to call you my friend and am honoured to celebrate another one with you, even if just in spirit! I love you so much babe and pray that the year ahead will be one filled with lots more happiness and laughter and lloooonnnggggggggg 'days of our lives' chats on the phone :) x mwwah x BFF x

TTFN!!

On Wednesday we say TTFN (ta ta for now ) to my lil sis! She is off to europe on a working visa for a year and plans to galavant around the place for a touch of culture beyond what we already have here in Tas :) We are going to miss her terribly, life wont be the same without her around, no friday drop in's, long yaks on the couch and tea made with the smallest amount of milk possible (serious Lea, its like the milk flew over it and forgot to land!) But we know that you will have the trip of a life time, meet some amazing people (maybe even one of the male variety :-) ) and make some amazing memories! We pray that God will bring you back safely to us in due time - we love you very very much. Levi is going to miss his aunty lea cuddles x mmwah x love you x

We're back!

Happy new year everyone!! We have returned home wonderfully refreshed and ready for the new year! Had a great time in WA catching up with family and friends and introducing Levi to many new faces and experiences! Esperance was just devine, unfortunatley i got the flu and LOST MY TASTE for ONE AND A HALF WEEKS!!  Do you know how depressing that is when your father in law is cooking delicious olibollen (or 'oily balls' as mum R calls them :-) ) and you are going out for breakfast lunch, tea and there is a delicious bakery selling creamy treats right round the corner?!?!?!?!?!  Despite that small detail we loved it, Levi was a dream and Des was in his element! Celebrated our third wedding anniversary there too, took a photo of a kiss on the beach just for evidence that you still do these things when you've been married for THAT LONG! ;-)  Took ALOT of photos ( had to break in the new camera :-) ) so here's a few!
