One for the Eilanders!

Happy Birthday Oma!! On Sunday, Oma E turned 73! Has a nice ring to it don't you think?! We celebrated on Saturday at St Catherines Hall in Norwood with coffee and cake and a mountain of pizza's for dinner! There was musical chairs, a stage performance from Hailey, Leanna, Ebony and Nicole and Uncle Jerry even tickled the ivory keys of a banged up old piano! We had a great time and can't wait till her 75th when, the Lord willing, we get to celebrate it with all our loved ones from the West too- and even maybe as far as Canada?! No Pressure! :) Here's a few happy snaps- not particularly great photography but just so you get the picture! Love to you all xoxoxo

Rainy Day

What to do at home on the fourth day of torrential downpours in a row?! Make your own fun at the expense of your child!! :) Ok so it wasn't that bad but i think we got more enjoyment out of it that Levi did!

Backyard Blitz

After completing the reno's inside and out the front, Des has now turned his attention to... THE BACKYARD! After completing the deck we were itching to get the backyard cleared as it has been a junk pile for the past two years. Dad, Des and Ali put some soil down and seeded it and Uncle Eddie helped us by laying the borders/garden beds. Levi and I can hardly contain our excitement as soon we will have a yard to play in! We are STILL waitng for the grass to grow which is, well, like waiting for grass to grow really! :) But it shouldn't be much longer now!

  

Minus Two

Minus two, a sister and now a brother! Today we said farewell to my little (big) bro as he leaves for the greener pastures of Canada! It was with a few teas in our eyes, and yes, from Des as well, that we said goodbye, because he will be sorely missed! Thanks for all the good times over the past 5 months or so Al! Des is going to miss his gaming buddy and all the smack that you guys talked basically every night :) Levi is going to miss his uncle Ali too, it was soo great that he could meet you, who knows, next time you see him he could be walking and talking! I'm going to miss having you around and being able to talk, not about anything, just talk :) All the best for this new chapter in life mate, we love you lots and are looking forward to the next time we get to see you again! Bon Voyage!! xoxo
 

Happy Birthday Musketeer!

Today my bestie turns..... another year older! :) We have had so much fun over the past decade that we have been friends so today darling, i would like to wish you a hip happidy 'reminising' birsday! I feel so blessed to call you my friend and am honoured to celebrate another one with you, even if just in spirit! I love you so much babe and pray that the year ahead will be one filled with lots more happiness and laughter and lloooonnnggggggggg 'days of our lives' chats on the phone :) x mwwah x BFF x
